Built of straw bales, straw-clay, adobe block, clay plaster and other natural materials, the simple yet high-performing home stays comfortable year-round despite the extreme heat and cold of the high desert in east San Diego County. Built by Simple Construct, the Sustainable Patron winner at the SDGBC's 2018 Sustainability Awards.
